Here's my scenario's based on the coupons I have:
ReplyDelete1 Tide detergent $6
4 Stain release $16
3 Dawn dish soap $3
Total: $25
- 5/25 CVS =20
- 1/1 Tide =19
-2 1.50/1 stain release =16
-2 1/1 stain release =14
-3 .50/1 Dawn =12.50
Total 12.50 Get back $10 only 2.50 out of pocket!!
Or:
1 Tide detergent $6
1 Dryer bar $4
4 stain release $16
Total: $26
Use:
5/25 CVS =21
1/1 tide detergent =20
1/1 dryer bar =19
2- 1.50/1 stain release =16
2 1/1 stain release =14
Total: $14 get 10 in ecb. Only $4 out of pocket!
Hope my math is right!
I am so excited! I am definetely doing this deal!

ReplyDeleteI am having way too much fun with these scenario's!
ReplyDelete#1
3 bounce dryer bars @ $4 each =$12
3 Stain release @ $4 each = $12
1 Dawn soap $1
Total: $25
-5/25 =20
- 3 1.50/1 stain release = 15.50
- 3 1.50/1 bounce dryer bar = 11.00
- .50/1 Dawn = 10.50
Total: $10.50 get 10 ecb! .50 for all!!!!
And here is a "fantasy scenario" just for fun... :)
Buy 25 Dawn dish soaps @ $1 each
Total $25
-5/25 CVS coupon = $20
- 25 .50/1 dawn coupons = 7.50
Total 7.50 Get $10 in ECB's Free plus $2.50 profit!!! He-He!!!! I know that's not realistic unless you get 25 P&G booklets or buy 25 coupons off the internet!!!
^^^^Love it, Rachal!!! I haven't had a lot of time to come up with different scenerios. Can't wait to hit CVS Monday!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, would you tell me if this would work? This will be my first time shopping at CVS like this... so I may be all wet! HA! OK, here goes:
ReplyDeleteVaseline Body lotion= 7.99
1-Tide detergent = 6.00 - 1.00
1- fusion razor = 9.29 - 4.00
2- Dawn dish soap = 2.00 - .20 and .25
=25.28 - 5.00 and coupons totaling 5.45 =14.83 ECB's total= 22
Will that work? I'd love to be able to work this, but if not, I'll try something else. =)
Amy,
ReplyDeleteOkay I should have been clearer when writing up the CVS Deals. If you have a sales flier the P&G promo, buy $25, Earn $10 ECBs is listed on the front. The particapting products included in the P&G promo are Duracell Batteries - $10, Charmin T.p. $10, Bounty Paper Towels $6, Tide Detergent $6, Dawn $1, Puffs Tissues $1, Bounce Dryer Bar $4, and Tide Stain Release $4.
You can't use the vaseline lotion and gillette razor as part of your $25. You can still buy these 2 items in the same transaction with your P&G products. I hope this makes sense!
Maybe this will help you out. Here's what I plan to buy when I go to CVS on Monday.
1 - Vaseline Lotion $7.99
1 - Gillete Fusion Razor $9.29
2 - Tide Detergent - $12
3 - Bounce Dryer Bars - $12
1 - Dawn Dish Soap - $1
Total Before Coupons- $42.28
Coupons to use:
1 - $5/$25 CVS coupon (make sure to use this coupon first while your total is still above $25)
1 - $1 Vaseline Lotion
1 - $4 Gillette Razor
2 - $1 Tide Detergent
2 - $1.50 Bounce Dryer Bar
1 - $1 Bounce Dryer Bar
1 - $.50 Dawn Dish Soap
Total after coupons $25.78
ECBs I'm earning $22
So after ECBs it will be like I'm only paying $3.78 for all those items!!!
Feel free to ask more questions if you have them. The first couple to trips to CVS can be kinda confusing but the more you go the easier it gets!
ECBs print off on the bottom of your receipt. You'll want to cut those off and use them like cash next time you go to CVS.
Good luck finding the Bounce Dryer Bars.....I'm still waiting for them to restock since the last "free" deal they had with them!!! As of this last Thursday, they still didn't have them. If they did restock, you all with have bought them up by the time I get there on Tuesday!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteK, I'm back and yeah, I see what you mean now that I seen the flyer. How about this.. and I'd pro. try to do 2 different transactions just to make it more simple on my brain. =)
ReplyDeleteP&G deal:
2 charmin Tp- 20.00 - 1.00 coupon
1-tide deter. 6.00 -1.00 coupon
=26.00 - 5.00 = 21.00 and 10ECB's
1-Vaseline lotion@ 7.99 =7 ECB
1-Fusion razor @ 9.99 =5 ECB -4$ coupon
1-scotch product @ 5.00 +5 ECB
1-scope @3.49 = 1.50 ECB -1$coupon
=26.47 -5/25 coupon I have -5$ in coupons =16.47 and 18.50 ECB's
What I'm wondering is, the deal for the scotch product.. do you have to buy 15$ in that product OR 15 $ total in anything to get the 5 ECB's?
Hope all this makes sense!! BTW, As of now, I can't print any coupon's off online... so those coupon's aren't helping me any.
Amy-
ReplyDeleteThe deal with the scotch products you need to buy $15 worth of the particapting products to receive the $5 ECBs. The particapting products are shown on the inside of the front page.
aha... the more I thought about it, the more I was sure there was a catch to it, just didn't know what...I can work around that. Will everything else work? And I'll replace the scotch with something else to get my 25 $ worth and then just not have as much ecb? I guess my concern or this first trip is to get my ecb built up and not as much getting the products that I need/want and hopefully that'll be it for me when it comes to a lot of oop.
ReplyDeleteYes everything else will work but remember that the vaseline lotion is a 3 day sale. So tommorrow is your last day to get that. Also if you can't get enough product to equal $25 just wait and use your $5/$25 coupon until another time. It doesn't expire until 10/12.
ReplyDeleteWell, this is what I got:
ReplyDelete1- Vaseline lotion @ 7.99 7 ecb's
1- fusion razor @9.29 - 4.oo coupon 5 ecb's
1 scope @3.49 - 1.00 coupon 1.50 ecb's
2 boxes kelloggs cereal @ 2/4.00 - 2/2.00 coupon
and thinking I still needed 33 cents, I got a cvs pocket tissue pk. @.50
total after 5/25$ and coupons: 14.01 with 13.50 ECB's
I know, It's not all that grand compared to what you ladies did, but I feel good about it beings I had limited coupon's and no ecb's. =) Michelle, thanks so much for all your help! Couldn't have done it w/o you!! I am going to love this. =)
May I say....Great job AMY! I am serious! You got nearly everything back that you spent! You'll be a pro in a few weeks! You should have seen my first transaction!!! It was embarressing! I think I saved the receipt, just for the fun of laughing at myself!
ReplyDeleteAmy, you did a very good job! I think my first trip to CVS I ended up paying about $15 - $16 out of pocket and got back around $13-$15 ECBs!! It will get to be even more fun on your next trip when you'll have ECBs to help pay your out of pocket expense!
