My Kroger Triples Shopping Trip!

I got up in the wee hours of the morning to make a quick shopping trip to Kroger. I split this up into 2 different transactions so I could use some catalina coupons I got for buying the Pillsbury and Betty Crocker Potatoes. I spent a grand total of $3.96 for everything!! I even have a $3 catalina coupon left so it's really like I only paid $.96 for all of this. How did you do at Kroger triples?

A Recap of my Spending this Week:
Total Spent: $64.94
Total Saved w/Coupons: $205.54
Total Saved w/Sales - $21.09
Total Savings - $226.63
Yikes! I used a total of 93 coupons this week! That's a lot of coupons! It's a bit higher than normal because of K-Mart super doubles and Kroger triple coupons! I'm a little over budget this week but I will have $17.50 coming back in rebates so I'm not too worried about going over by $5.

  4. Wow, Rachal! You did really good for only spending $30 with K-Mart doubles and Kroger triples! You amaze me! I'm curious what your out of pocket cost was with triples. I'm sure you beat mine... Are you feeling better?

  5. Yes I am feeling better. I don't think we will go to church tomorrow. I don't want to spread it to other people.
I spent $2.30 for $115 of groceries at Kroger. (After my shortcuts coupons were fixed) And they were within 2 hours!! :) Shortcuts is amazing in the CS department! :)

  6. That includes the 3rd $3 catalina I have for next week. So 6.80 out of pocket. Minus 1.50 that will some off the next time I shop, minus the $3 cat and that's $2.30! Yaaaa!!!

  8. Yes! I'd like to see a picture!

I was surprised that some of my e-coupons actually came off. I wasn't expecting it so it messed up my first transaction a little bit. I had a $3 cat from earlier this week I wanted to use. Well since I had those e-coupons my total was $3.04 and $.21 of that was tax. I was scared to try to use the cat because I didn't know if it would work because of the tax. What do you think? My second transaction I only paid $.92. I think that's the lowest I've ever paid at Kroger!

  9. I think the cat would have been fine. I should check the fine print on it.

  11. Looks like some fun shopping.... :) Did you use the coupons from vocal point for your tissues? Wish I had more of those coupons.... :(

  12. Valerie,
Yep I got a cat for the cinnamon rolls. It was a $4 moneymaker for me! Love when that happens. I still had the $.95/1 printables that I used on them.

  15. Rose, you're not the only one that wishes for a Kroger. My mom and SIL's live an hour from me and they have no Krogers nearby either.
