Did you win anything? I didn't.
ReplyDeleteI got $1 off. Expires in 3 days. :( I wasn't planning to go to Kroger anytime soon, but I guess I should at least stop in and get something for $1, so I can get it free!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteThe turkey deal at Giant Eagle just made my day today!! It's a limit of 3 per day, so you could go several days in a row and really stock up!! :) :)
I got $1. I also had a $1 coupon in my account for member appreciation month. As I've said before $2 can go a long way!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get to Giant Eagle tomorrow! Hope they have the turkeys in stock.
I cant stop smiling about those turkeys! I told Mom about it and she got 3. I think if I responsible to feed 9 people I would be getting about 6 more! They mainly eat venison so anything else is a treat for them. They can go through 3 turkeys in a short time. :) Wish it wasn't so much work to cook and cut it all up...or I might get another half dozen!
ReplyDeleteI agree on the work part of it! Today when I was rinsing mine, taking the neck & gizzards out (DISGUSTING!) and trying to get it in the oven bag I wondering why on earth I bought 3 turkeys. But I try to remind myself that it will all be worth it in the end!
ReplyDeleteYeah disgusting is right! The last time I forgot to take the neck and bag of stuff out! I was cutting it up (my family was here for Christmas) and I was so embarrassed. Mom said she did the same thing when she was first married! I cooked some chicken yesterday and the smell about made me sick. How can I stand a baking turkey for hours and hours...then picking it all apart!?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you were going to pick the meat off if you can't stand the smell. Maybe your hubby will come to your rescue...
