CVS: Moneymaker on Stayfree Products!

Update: Your milage may vary on this deal. I was at the Mt. Vernon CVS this afternoon and there was no tags advertising this deal. I had the manager scan the package to check if I'd get ECBs and it didn't show anything. From reading comments people have left on Hip 2 Save it's working for some but not for others.

CVS has a March Extra Bucks Deal on Stayfree or Carefree Pads or Pantiliners. Buy One Package for $3.99 and receive $2 ECBs! Limit of 4 per card. Here's what you need to do to make a little bit of money on them.

Buy 4 Stayfree pads - $3.99 ea = $15.96
Use 2 BOGO Free coupons from the 1/3 RP
Plus, use 2 $2/1 from the 3/28 RP
Pay $3.98 and get back $8 ECBs!!!
A $4.02 moneymaker!!!

Thanks, Hip 2 Save!

  2. We got 2 RP on 1/03. Maybe you checked the wrong one. It's the one with "70% off frame sale" written on the front.

  3. I have looked and looked and can't find it. I have never bought stayfree pads in my life so I know I haven't used it. I can only find one RP from 1/3 and it says LOREAL on the front. I better do more digging.

  5. Ha...just tried posting a comment when I realized I was signed in under my husband. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to leave a comment about pads... :0

The 1/3 paper is the ONE paper I don't have. We were on a western road trip and I didn't manage to get papers. I've wished so many times for this paper. Oh well, I can still get them for free, it's just not a money maker. I can also get them for free at Giant Eagle this week. Good thing I have 14 of these coupons. :)

  6. He, He, too funny, Heather! Wow, 14 coupons. Did you buy them off ebay or did you get lucky and find a bunch of inserts in a recycling bin? You should be set in pads for a looooooong time!

  7. I bought 3 papers, got 1 from my aunt and another 10 from a friend at church. In their area they get the red plum inserts in the mail. She was at the post office and saw stacks of them in the trash. She was kind enough to share. :)

  8. Wow! I'd be on cloud 9 if I'd find 10 red plum in the trash!!!!

  11. Rachal, I know you left a comment because I read it in my e-mail but I'm not seeing it here. What's up with blogger?

Ha, Ha wouldn't that be a trip!!! I'm sure we'd win.:)

Actually today when I was at CVS I put some of my papers in the recycling bin and I saw a Red Plum but I couldn't reach it because there was barely anything in the dumpster. Grrr...

  12. I know....couldn't figure out why it got eaten???!!
I am going to keep an eye on those green bins. I almost stopped at the WalMart one the other day, but I didn't have recycling with me and I thought it would look dumb! Can't you just see me hanging out of the recycling bin and someone goes by that knows me and honks!! Embaressment! Or better yet, I get stuck, trying to lift a load of inserts. I would love to know when they put the leftover Sunday papers out. :)

  14. I had fun on Sunday. We were on a trip so I bought papers in TN and in KY on the way home. NOW I HAVE COUPONS!!! I will spare you more of my moaning about our pathetic inserts. 10 RP inserts. Does that mean you have 10 $3 off snuggle coupons? Wowsa.

  15. Yea for you Valerie!!! I didn't think about Heather having 10 of the Snuggle coupons. Wow! She'll be stocked for a long time!

Rachal, I always think I'm going to stop and look in the green recycling things but always chicken out. I think I need to put my pride aside and start checking anyway! Maybe we should always make sure we have recycling paper in the trunk of our vans then we would always have a reason to stop!

  16. He he!!! That's a great idea! I have found inserts this way, but I am always to chicken to spend more than a few seconds looking! I have heard of people waiting until dark, then putting on a head lamp and getting inside!!! My dream would be to find a paper recycling dumpster in a very out of the way location, no ones around and I can stay for hours...looking for inserst!
I had a dream last night that I got in a paper dumpster and there was no inserts to be found! LOL!! It's not gross like regulare dumpsters becasue it's all paper. My only fear is that someone will think I am one of those "identity theives" that's looking for people's info! :)

  17. Ok, that's at least 5 words that I misspelled!
It drives me nuts when I do that...I need to slow down my typing!

    -No one's
    -Inserts
    -Regular
    -Because
    -Thieves

I need to go back to school!

  18. Ha! Rachal! That's too funny about your dream! I was watching one of the Hip 2 Save contest videos and this lady live in a housing development and she always finds coupons in their recycling bins. I was like no fair! I want to live in a housing development.

So are you going to stop today at any recycling bins? If you look in the at CVS and see a big stack of inserts, those were mine! :) Old ones I got rid of.

Don't worry about the typos, I misspell too!

  19. The recycling gets picked up the beginning of the week. (I think Monday or Tuesday) So I probably couldn't reach anything right now. :)
I just realized that I could check the status of my order at Olan Mills. Here I find ount that they shipped 13 days ago!! The lady had told me she would call when they come in! Some people are so irresponsible....She probably was too lazy and figured since the paper said they would be ready by the 31rst, she wouldn't bother calling. I will probably stop at CVS.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That's a bummer! Here they were ready all along! I'm curious if you find anything out about the stayfree deal at CVS.

  21. Yes....it does mean that I have a stack of 13 or 14 of the Snuggle coupons. Woohoo!!! I see a years worth of fabric softener in my future.

  22. I don't hardly know a thing about CVS....how do you know if the store has the deal on or not? What does the scanner say?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, I'm pretty sure this deal is dead now since it's April and this was a March Extra Bucks Deal.

But normally I'd go in and scan them item and it should say whether you get extra bucks back. I actually went in and got a pack that had the correct barcode that was "supposedly" generating the ECBs. I gave it to the cashier who pretended to buy and got no ECBs in return. The whole deal was kinda weird because if it works at one store it should work at all stores but in the case it wasn't working everywhere.
